Best Fans in the Biz, Outsiders, and much more!
Good morning! Wichita is a special place, you already knew that, but with the conclusion of basketball in July, we wanted to highlight just how awesome it was to see the fans show out in the middle of summer. Can’t wait to do it again soon!
What all are we mixing into today’s Brew?

🌾 And much, much more!
📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Outsiders. Let the countdown begin! Shockers women’s basketball released its non-conference schedule for the 2023 season earlier this week, and it all starts with the first game of the season at Koch Arena on November 1st.
In white are the home games fans can expect to see this fall. Notable opponents Kansas will get a taste of the Wichita State experience while the Shockers will head to Norman, Oklahoma to face the Sooners in the second game of the season.
🔼 New Field, Same Shockers. The field at Wilkins Stadium has been in the process of a remodel, and wow does this field look like it’s ready for some action. The new look softball field features nods to WSU’s colors, a striped outfield, and most importantly, Wu. This thing will be a sight to see once next season rolls around.
🔼 Major Props. Former Shockers baseball star, Alec Bohm, has been on a tear with the Phillies this side of the All-Star break. It also doesn’t hurt to hit a walk-off in front of a sold out home crowd. Keep on keeping on Mr. Bohm!
🔼 Save the Date! The inaugural Black and Yellow Gala will be later this summer on August 19th at the Charles Koch Arena. The event will go directly toward the support of all Shocker student-athletes and teams. Join us for this fantastic fundraising event by purchasing tickets down below.

Everyone reading this knows how special of a place Koch Arena is during the men’s and women’s basketball seasons, but we were reminded in the middle of July that this place truly is one of a kind.
