Shocker Brew: 8/1: AfterShocks Go For the Million!

The AfterShocks can win The Basketball Tournament title and the $1 million winner-take-all prize at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3.

Good morning, Shocker Nation. The AfterShocks can win The Basketball Tournament title and the $1 million winner-take-all prize at 3 p.m. CT on Sunday, Aug. 3 (FOX) at Koch Arena. They face Eberlein Drive, which defeated Best Virginia 85-77 on Thursday.

The AfterShocks make their first appearance in the championship game in their sixth TBT. A 2022 semifinal appearance was their previous best finish.

The Thursday semifinal got heated with technical fouls on Nichols and Marcus Azor of We Are D3 and one on Nike Sibande of the AfterShocks. The emotions – and frustrations – didn't bother the AfterShocks, who took charge with a 21-5 edge in the second quarter to build a 35-17 lead.
