Good morning, Shocker Nation. The Wichita State baseball team’s summer recruiting efforts have been going into overdrive.
The Shockers have added another arm to the arsenal, as Northwestern transfer Amar Tsengeg has put pen to paper. WSU also signed former Bishop Carroll standout and Pitt State transfer Brady Pacha.

Smile Because it Happened. As the saying goes, “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.” Longtime Wichita State women's tennis head coach Colin Foster has accepted the Director of Tennis position at Wichita Country Club. He will serve as the interim head coach at Wichita State until a successor is found.
Foster is Wichita State's all-time wins leader with a record of 251-150 and has guided the Shockers to nine NCAA tournament appearances and eight conference tournament titles in 16 seasons as head coach (2009-25).

Some Stats From Favors’ 2024 Shockers Season:
Earned First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Region honors as the ace of the Wichita State pitching staff...went 9-4 with a 3.21 ERA over 17 appearances, including 16 starts...logged 106.2 innings, seventh-most in the country and the highest total from a Shocker since Jordan Cooper tossed 107.1 in 2010...struck out 107 while issuing only 20 walks.
