The final tune-up is in the books, and it’s time for the real deal! Wichita State volleyball officially takes the court at the Shocker Volleyball Classic this weekend; the first match is set for Friday night at 6 p.m. at Charles Koch Arena.

🔼 Sophomore Surge. Opportunity is knocking for Wichita State's sophomore class! Outside hitters Jenna Cubbage, Olivia Cohee, and McKenzie Jones are stepping into bigger roles after season-ending injuries sidelined returner Sydney Dunning and newcomers Niya Lewis and Trinity Luckett. Jones made the biggest freshman impact with 67 kills, and head coach Chris Lamb sees big things ahead: "McKenzie Jones has all the talent she needs... she is the kind of talent to be all-conference."
