Shocker Brew: 8/4: AfterShocks Take the TBT Title
The AfterShocks are the champions of the 2025 TBT! They divided the $1 million prize after Sunday's win in front of 9,029 fans, the most for a TBT game at Koch Arena.
Good morning, Shocker Nation. The AfterShocks are the champions of The Basketball Tournament. They divided the $1 million prize after Sunday's win in front of 9,029 fans, the most for a TBT game at Koch Arena. They won six games, four by 12 or more points, in Koch Arena to win their first TBT title in six appearances. The AfterShocks continued their dominance of the second quarter on Sunday by outscoring Eberlein Drive by eight points to build a 46-37 halftime lead.
Any account of the 2025 AfterShocks title starts with the fans, who scooped up thousands of tickets beginning in 2019. That enthusiasm handed the AfterShocks homecourt advantage each summer. The AfterShocks are 18-2 at Koch Arena.
