🔼 Softball In The Fall. The reigning AAC Champions have something to set their eyes on now with the release of the their fall 2023 schedule. Shocker softball will play six exhibition games this semester in anticipation of NCAA play later next year.

The schedule features some familiar faces including Kansas and Oklahoma State (who the Shockers beat twice last season). The game against the OSU Cowgirls will be the only road game of the fall exhibition series.

🔼 Seeing Success. Our Shockers on the diamond are showing out in the minor leagues. Between Brock Rodden’s solo blast, Luke Ritter’s typical home run trot, and Phillies’ Alec Bohm’s stellar major league play, WSU has their hands full with seeing baseball talent displayed at all levels.

🔼 Tee Time. Shocker women’s golf announced their schedule for the 2023-24 season and will be off and swinging come Sept. 11th at the Payne Stewart Memorial. The fall schedule consists of four tournaments running until late October with spring play beginning at the end of February. The regular season concludes in Florida with the AAC Tournament from April 15-17th.

🔼 Back To Work. The return to campus for student-athletes also meant Shocker women’s basketball returning to the court for the first practice with the team. The road to the regular season for first year Shockers coach, Terry Nooner, begins now!

The Shockers will officially tip off regular season play in Lubbock, Texas, this weekend as participants in the Under Armour Challenge. The team will face off against three different opponents during their roadtrip. To set your mind at ease before the action begins, here are a few stats that show the Shockers will be ready:

• The Shockers have won six consecutive season openers.

• Coach Lamb holds a 16-7 record in regular season debuts with the Shockers.

• Although never having played ND or HCU, the Shockers are 3-0 against Texas Tech under Coach Lamb.
