🌾 ONE BIG THING

Shocker volleyball tipped off the regular season this weekend down in the Lone Star State in Lubbock, Texas for the Under Armour Challenge to take on their first three opponents of the season.

🏐 In the regular season opener against Notre Dame, the Shockers nearly took the match in the fourth set, but the Fighting Irish forced a fifth set to ultimately steal the win away from Wichita State.

🏐 Game two against the hometown team, Texas Tech, saw the Shockers down 2-0 heading into intermission, but the squad fought back hard in the third set to continue the match. In the fourth set, Texas Tech got the better of WSU to take the match.

🏐 Game three against Houston Christian saw the Shockers capture their first victory of the season behind a career-best 13 kills from Emerson Wilford, and a dominant fourth set to bring a W back home to Wichita.
