Baseball season is nothing but consistent in the summer months, and so too have some of the former Shocker baseball players been on their respective squads.

⚾️ Over the weekend, MLB All-Star and former Shocker standout Alec Bohm celebrated his birthday with a three-RBI game to nab another win for the Philadelphia Phillies.

⚾️ Shocker alum Luke Ritter is having himself a season with the Syracuse Mets where he is batting .267 with an OPS of .892 which includes 77 RBI, 22 home runs and 17 doubles.

⚾️ Playing for the Hutchinson Monarchs, current Shocker Camden Johnson set the single-season record for his summer league club with his 28th stolen base in 28 attempts.

🔼 About Time. Shocker Volleyball is just 25 days away from the start of the 2024 season. Riding high off their NIVC Championship win, the Shockers return several players from last season’s postseason run including fifth-year setter, Izzi Strand and upperclassmen Morgan Stout, Emerson Wilford and Gabi Maas. The first regular season match of the year will be on the road in the Kennesaw State Invitational where the Shockers will take on the tournament hosts on Friday, August 30.

A linebacker on Wichita State’s football team from 1961-63, Parcells was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013. Parcells coached the New York Giants to two Super Bowl titles and led New England to a Super Bowl appearance.
