🔼 Home Sweet Home. Former Shocker Jaden Gustafson isn't going far! Just months after wrapping up his playing career at Wichita State, the Wichita native is back with the Shockers as a graduate assistant, trading the batter's box for the coaching staff. Gustafson appeared in nearly 200 games across four seasons and put together a big senior year, hitting .298 with career highs in runs, hits, home runs, and RBIs.

He's joined on staff by Brian Commerford, the new assistant director of sports performance, who comes to Wichita after eight years at Inspiration Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

Nebraska natives Max Buettenback and Maddox Meyer stop by the podcast to talk about choosing Wichita State baseball, the teammates turning heads this fall, the Barton School of Business, and Runza sandwiches.
