Good morning, Shocker Nation. The Wichita State men's basketball team will host Drake in a charity scrimmage on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 1 p.m. in Charles Koch Arena.
The scrimmage with Drake will not be a typical game format; instead, it will feature extended scrimmage segments, including offensive and defensive drills, in-game scenarios, and live play.

This Weekend’s Bumpin’. Wichita State travels to Provo, Utah, for the BYU Nike Invitational, taking on Incarnate Word and host No. 18 BYU on Friday before squaring off with Northern Colorado on Saturday.
All matches will be streamed live on ESPN+.

🔼 Fall Forward, Baseball’s Back. Head coach Brian Green and the Wichita State baseball program announced the fall exhibition schedule, with two games against NCAA tournament qualifiers and a five-game Black & Yellow Fall World Series.
The Shockers are scheduled to play the same two outside opponents as last fall, but will flip the home and road locations. On Saturday, Sept. 27, Wichita State hosts Nebraska at Eck Stadium with a first pitch time of noon CT. Then Wichita State heads to Dallas Baptist on Saturday, October 18, with a 1:00 pm CT first pitch at Horner Ballpark.

🔼 The Student Becomes the Master. Wichita State men's golf coach Judd Easterling introduces new assistant Mark Leroux on the recent RH Podcast episode. Leroux, former coach at Missouri, gave Easterling his start in coaching in 2013. Leroux served as coach at Missouri for 19 years, a period during which the Tigers advanced to 15 NCAA regionals.
We talk about Leroux adding experience and a balance of personality to the staff. We discuss why Leroux put off retirement to join Easterling and how they handled the change in roles from their previous partnership. We also talk about fly-fishing, favorite golf courses, and the 2025-26 Shockers.
