🔼 Warming Up. Another weekend means another round of fall ball exhibitions at home for Shocker softball. On Friday, Wichita State will play Seminole State and on Sunday, the Shockers will take on Kansas as the team continues to prepare for the 2024 season.

🌾 ONE BIG THING

The new-look Wilkins Stadium is officially underway after a lead gift of $1.5 million was given by John and Gail Wadsworth to Wichita State.

🗣️ “Student athletes work incredibly hard to succeed in all aspects of their collegiate experience, and supporting projects that will benefit their development is something we encourage everyone to consider." - John Wadsworth

The money will start to go towards the Wadsworth Softball Team Operations Facility and will provide 12,000 square feet of space dedicated to the day-to-day operations of Shocker softball. The operation is part of the stadium’s renovation plan set to begin in the spring of 2024.
