📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Lone Star Matchup. Saddle up Shocker volleyball fans! The Black and Gold are headed down south for a two-match series as they will try to corral the SMU Mustangs. The team will look to extend its win streak to six as the Shockers are currently holding opponents to a .141 hitting percentage, the best in the AAC and seventh in the nation.

🔼 Taking That Next Step. Shocker men’s basketball is back on the grind, and junior Kenny Pohto is taking on more of a leadership role with practice back in full swing.

🗣️ "I'm really impressed with him. Those words don't even do it justice. He's a joy to be around. One of those guys who you can tell him once and the next day it's going to get corrected." - head coach Paul Mills

🔼 Garage Sale. It’s time to revamp your collection of Shockers gear this fall! Wichita State Athletics is holding its annual garage sale at the Aetna Multi-Purpose Facility this Saturday from 8am - 11am. Items will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the items range from jerseys and bags to Gatorade coolers and equipment.

🔼 Off and Running. Shocker cross country is trailing off in two this weekend as the men’s team will compete at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational while the women will race in the Gans Creek Classic.

The Shocker women will race in their first 6K of the season in Missouri with the team’s No. 2 runner, Sarah Bertry, making her return to the course. The men’s team will run in the five-mile race in Indiana with Adam Rzentkowski making his team debut with the Shockers.
