📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Gang’s All Here. Shocker women’s basketball is locked in for the upcoming season. The team’s 15 roster spots have been filled, and now all that’s left to do is get back in the lab, and get to work.

🔼 Incredible Career. Former Shocker volleyball player Emily Stockman officially announced her retirement from the game earlier this week. The member of the Wichita State Sports Hall of Fame is calling it quits after quite the career that included multiple wins across the landscape of professional beach volleyball leagues.

🔼 The Roundhouse. Shocker cross country raced to a strong start in the team’s opening event that saw both the men’s and women’s teams sweep the competition at the JK Gold Classic. Among them was Wales native Iestyn Williams.

Williams worked hard in the offseason to prove he belonged on the squad, and his hard work paid off with a win in college portion of the 6K race with a time of 18 minutes.

🗣️ “I surprised myself and I surprised a lot of people. I’m glad the work is paying off.” - Iestyn Williams
